Phase 1
Business Alignment
- Purpose
- Confirm the business foundation the lead asset will be built on.
- Why it matters
- A lead magnet built without an approved message, roadmap and sales model tends to attract the wrong people or lead nowhere.
- What you do
- Verify your approved business message, nine-step product roadmap and approved sales model.
- What you produce
- A confirmed set of business inputs Mr. Hong can work from.
Hypothetical example · A bookkeeping coach confirms her message (helping freelance designers organise finances), her nine-step roadmap and her paid strategy session offer. - 2
Phase 2
Opportunity Selection
- Purpose
- Choose the one roadmap step with the strongest attraction potential.
- Why it matters
- Focusing on one step keeps the resource short, useful and clearly connected to the larger solution.
- What you do
- Evaluate all nine steps against Tangibility, Customer Curiosity, Speed, Focus and Perceived Relevance.
- What you produce
- A scored comparison and one deliberately approved step.
Hypothetical example · Step 2, 'Separate business and personal spending', scores 5/5 and is approved after discussion. - 3
Phase 3
Resource Engineering
- Purpose
- Turn the selected step into a tangible resource people can use.
- Why it matters
- A usable tool creates a real first result, which builds more trust than general information.
- What you do
- Select an approved format and design its sections, inputs, instructions, outputs and completion experience.
- What you produce
- A complete resource blueprint.
Hypothetical example · The step becomes a one-page expense-sorting worksheet with a short instruction set. - 4
Phase 4
Promise and Presentation
- Purpose
- State clearly what the resource helps someone achieve, and how it looks.
- Why it matters
- A clear, supportable promise sets honest expectations and helps the right people opt in.
- What you do
- Develop a result-based title, customer result, completion time and visual presentation notes.
- What you produce
- An approved title and presentation direction.
Hypothetical example · Working title: 'Sort a Month of Expenses in 20 Minutes' (hypothetical, to be validated). - 5
Phase 5
Conversion Connection
- Purpose
- Link the free result to the paid offer with one logical next step.
- Why it matters
- Without a next step, a helpful resource ends the relationship instead of starting one.
- What you do
- Choose the Paid Strategy Session or Live Workshop pathway and write an approved CTA.
- What you produce
- A conversion pathway, CTA and verified destination.
Hypothetical example · After finishing the worksheet, the reader is invited to book a paid strategy session. - 6
Phase 6
Production Verification
- Purpose
- Check the resource is ready to produce and publish.
- Why it matters
- Reviewing quality before launch catches broken links, unclear promises and missing pieces.
- What you do
- Apply the 100-point readiness review, resolve critical failures and finalise the specification.
- What you produce
- The final Lead Asset Production Specification.
Hypothetical example · The review scores 88/100 with no critical failures, so the specification is finalised.
Tool-and-Teaching Connection™
A tool that works, a lesson that explains.
The lead asset gives the prospect a practical tool and a first result. Companion training explains why it matters and how it fits the larger journey. Together they lead logically to your Paid Strategy Session or Live Workshop. The full definition lives in the master prompt.
